The Sentinel WSL-1 water filter is an alternative to the more expensive LG LT500P and filters mechanical impurities, micro-sediments, chlorine, pesticides, heavy metals and many organic chemicals, thus improving the taste.

This filter is only compatible with LG side-by-side refrigerators with an "internal" water filter and is also an alternative for these LG filters: 5231JA2002A, 5231JA2002A-S and others.

Please note the following: This filter is not suitable for refrigerators that have an external water filter.

According to the device manufacturers' recommendations, you should always replace the water filter if:

• the corresponding warning light on your refrigerator will illuminate (depending on the model)
• the refrigerator was not used for a long time
• in case of odor development or cloudiness of the water
• or at the latest every 6 months.
