The filter material of this water filter is not made of activated carbon granules, but of a solid activated carbon block. Bacteria multiply faster in a loose mixture of activated carbon granules than in a solid activated carbon block. At 9,450 liters, the capacity is higher than many other filters. The filter does not require sealing; it is installed in seconds using quick connectors.

What does the refrigerator filter remove from the water? The filter reduces bacteria and removes organic chemicals, chlorine, sulfur, insecticides, pesticides, and herbicides. With this filter, you're making a good choice for you and your refrigerator.

According to the manufacturer’s recommendations, you should always replace the water filter when:
-the corresponding warning light on your refrigerator lights up (depending on the model),
-the refrigerator has not been used for a long time,
-if the water develops an odor or becomes cloudy,
-or to be on the safe side, according to the TwVo, at least every 6 months, even if the filter has a higher capacity!
