These activated carbon block filters from the USA (the pioneering country of water treatment) are solid, homogeneous molded bodies made from the finest activated carbon dust. They are characterized by their exceptional adsorption capacity compared to conventional activated carbon fills. The surface area of the activated carbon block filters is twice that of granular activated carbon filters. As a result, the filter cartridge has a longer service life and increased adsorption capacity. These filter cartridges ensure the filtration of the finest particles down to 0.5 µm in size. They are particularly recommended for reducing chlorine and organic contaminants. The filter cartridge is particularly suitable for applications with high copper and lead contamination.
