Refill kit for the grey Smart cartridge

If you want to outsmart the rip-offs, then this hack is just right for you.

You will receive:
1x plug for the water filter
1 liter of refill granules
1x refill funnel

How to proceed:

➡️ Make a 10 mm hole at the very top of your used Jura Smart cartridge.

➡️ Empty out the old granules and clean the filter cartridge so that it remains hygienically clean.

➡️ Fill in the new granules and seal the opening with the silicone plug.

➡️ Only fill to about 4/5 full, as the granules swell when they come into contact with water.

➡️ Insert the cartridge into the tank.

➡️ Cut a piece of aluminum foil to size and stick it over the water inlet of the Jura.
 Two small strips of adhesive tape are sufficient for fixing it in place. Cut out the filling hole and attach the tank. Done!

The aluminum foil interrupts the communication between the filter's RFID chip and the Jura. The message "Filter capacity is exhausted" will therefore no longer appear. The Jura starts with the setting for no filter.
