This cartridge fits the housings of Carbonit, Sanuno and Vario.

These activated carbon block filters, solid homogeneous bodies produced from the finest activated carbon dust, are characterized by their exceptional absorption capacity compared to ordinary activated carbon granules. The surface area of ​​activated carbon block filters is twice that of granular activated carbon filters.
As a result, these filter cartridges have a longer lifespan and increased adsorption capacity. These filter cartridges ensure the filtration of even the finest particles down to the specified filter fineness. They are particularly recommended for reducing chlorine and organic contaminants.

Activated carbon block made of carbon:
Activated carbon is a porous substance (activated carbon dust) with the highest absorption capacities and has the highest adsorbing porosity volume of all filter materials.
Activated carbon can be produced from many carbon-rich substances such as coal, wood, bamboo and coconut shells through carbonization and activation.
Superior activated carbon demonstrates its performance through the properties of its specific surface area, adsorption capacity, mechanical strength, thermal and chemical stability.
Activated carbon filters are used in industrial processes and in civilian applications as the most efficient method for removing odors, chlorine, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), colors, flavors, and other contaminants from liquids. For under-sink filters, the use of a second or thicker seal may be necessary.
