The drinking straw water filter is an ideal, portable drinking water filter for outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, or fishing. It's also suitable for emergencies when no reliable drinking water source is available.

How it works:
The drinking straw water filter filters in four filter stages: sediment filter, activated carbon, antibacterial particles and hollow fiber membrane.

Direct filtering can be done in different ways.

With mouthpiece (and hose): Insert the straw filter approximately 4-8 cm into the water you wish to drink. Use the hose as an extension if necessary.
First, blow air into the filter to remove the air that is inside the filter.
Then gently suck on the filter. If you can't suck water into your mouth, or if the water flows slowly or not at all, simply blow through the filter again before drinking.

With bottle: Connection can be made using a standard (internationally standardized) bottle neck/bottle opening of 28 mm.
You can then use common drinking bottles, e.g. PET, to empty the water directly through the screwed-on filter.
Or you can squeeze the water into a cup and then drink from it.

With water bag: To do this, screw the water bag onto the filter.
Then fill the water bag with the water you want to filter. The bag should contain only water! Then connect the water filter to the supply hose. Make sure there is no air in the supply hose when connecting it.
Then hang the water bag in a high place so that gravity can act on the water column (supply hose).
You can then collect the water running through the filter in a container and drink it (please discard the first half liter).
