Please note

This filter is not compatible with refrigerators that have an external water filter. According to the appliance manufacturers, you should always replace the water filter if:

the corresponding warning light on your refrigerator illuminates (depending on the model)
the refrigerator was not used for a long time
in case of odor development or cloudiness of the water
or, to be on the safe side, at least every 6 months
