Ultrafiltration with 0.02µm fineness through an internal ultrafiltration membrane and combined, sintered activated carbon monoblock with 5.0µm fineness.
This ensures reliable retention of bacteria and viruses. The adsorptive retention rate (ARR) is approximately 60-70%, compared to the 100% ARR of the NFP Premium-9.

The pollutant retention of Carbonit's IFP ensures tested safety according to German food law and environmentally friendly processing of renewable raw materials.

Service life:
The filter cartridge must be replaced after 6 months (according to DIN 1988). Generally, approximately 5,000 liters of water can be filtered within 6 months. However, an earlier replacement may be necessary if the water flow is noticeably reduced.
An early replacement is not a defect in the filter in use, but rather an indication of an increased presence of fine particles in the unfiltered water. Due to the extremely high fineness, sediment pre-filtration with Carbonit textile filters is recommended in cases of significant flow reduction. This will increase the lifespan of your IFP Ultra and ensure a comfortable water flow for longer.
