During production, each filter is tested for leaks using compressed air. The water filter is made of high-quality, food-grade materials. Naturally, this filter is certified according to NSF Standard ANSI 42.
The connections are so-called "Quick Connect Fittings." These are already integrated into the cartridge during manufacturing. The hose ends simply need to be inserted into the filter openings until they stop. The connectors lock automatically, allowing for replacement in just a few seconds. No sealing is necessary, providing increased protection against water damage.

Multi-stage filtration
Unlike most filters, this water filter is not filled with activated carbon granules, but with an activated carbon block with a 5µm filter fineness.
Suspended particles larger than 5µm micron (5 thousandths of a millimeter) are retained, such as suspended particles and micro-sediments like rust, sand, lime particles, etc.
The high-quality activated carbon made from real coconut shells reduces mechanical impurities, chlorine, pesticides, heavy metals and many organic chemicals.
These filters are among the best on the market. They offer excellent value for money. These high-quality filters are not comparable to cheap, loose activated carbon filters.
This filter fits all refrigerator models that have an external water filter. The external water filters are installed in the 6 mm (1/4") plastic hose that connects to the cold water line.

Filter change
According to the appliance manufacturers' recommendations, you should always replace the water filter if:
- the corresponding warning light on your refrigerator will illuminate (depending on the model),
- the refrigerator has not been used for a long time
- in case of odor development or cloudiness of the water,
- or, to be on the safe side, according to the TwVo (Technical Regulations for Water Supply), at least every 6 months, even if the filter has a higher capacity!
