A word on cheap water filters for SBS refrigerators on the internet
Many customers are delighted when they find a replacement filter on the internet for a fraction of the normal price. A 2, 3, or 6-pack is quickly ordered. The goods arrive, everything looks good, the filter is connected, and the seller receives a good rating. A few weeks later, disaster strikes: the filter has burst and the kitchen is flooded. The supposedly cheap purchase turns out to be expensive in hindsight. Can that really happen? We are actually aware of such a case. How could it happen? Recently, more and more cheap filters from Asia or Eastern Europe have appeared on the market that do not meet German quality standards. In addition to lower pressure resistance, there is also the risk of purchasing filters with cheap activated carbon fillings made from bitumen. The absorption rate here is significantly lower than with activated carbon from coconuts. So don't save at the wrong end; it could become expensive. Only buy from specialist retailers who exclusively offer water filters and are knowledgeable about the subject. If the seller also offers many other unrelated items, we advise caution. From us, you will only receive quality goods; as "Wasserstelle Berlin," we exclusively sell water treatment products. We are a member of the "Water Quality Association (WQA)" and are therefore committed to high quality standards. Since we purchase large quantities directly from the manufacturer and receive corresponding quantity discounts, you still receive quality at low prices from us. Some smaller online retailers may only be able to offer inferior goods at this price.

Technical specifications of the filters:

Flow rate: 2.8 liters/min,  max pressure: 6.0 bar, max temperature: 45 degrees Celsius / service life: 6 months / up to 9,500 liters. According to the German Drinking Water Ordinance (DIN 1988), all drinking water filters must be changed after 6 months (to prevent germ contamination), even if the filter has a larger capacity.

Functionality:

The filters purify the water of rust, chlorine, organic compounds, and sediments. In addition to activated carbon, the filter has sediment filter inserts. The result is a significant improvement in taste. Hardly any deposits in the water and ice system of your refrigerator.

Scope of delivery:

3 water filters, 2 adapters (self-sealing quick connectors),
