with flushing valve for a long membrane life.
Reverse osmosis system for water treatment for saltwater and freshwater aquariums and for travel!
100 GPD membrane from Vontron: Performance: up to 385 liters per day (at 22°C water temperature)
The most modern and environmentally friendly method of water treatment!
Water is one of the most important components for the life of humans, animals, and plants on our planet! But it is often contaminated by pollutants, which can cause health problems.
Reverse osmosis systems offer an affordable and effective way to produce extremely clean water! In reverse osmosis, the raw water is forced against a membrane; only pure water (permeate) can pass through the membrane, while contaminants are removed with the remaining water (concentrate).
The quality and quantity of osmosis water depends on the pressure and temperature of the raw water.
In most commercially available water treatment systems based on ion exchange resins, hardness-causing ions (e.g., calcium) are exchanged for other ions (e.g., sodium). This can cause a shift in the ion ratio, which can have unforeseeable consequences in the aquarium. Such systems must be regularly regenerated with chemicals!
Reverse osmosis is a natural process in which dissolved salts and pollutants are safely removed from the water using physical means!
Scope of delivery / description:
- Membrane housing (pressure-resistant), including 2 x retaining clips, wall mounting possible
- TFC osmosis membrane made of polyamide/polysulfone, original membrane 100 GPD
- Inline sediment filter 10" x 2" and inline activated carbon filter 10" x 2"
-Connection for M22 internal or external thread
-Diverter valve for direct connection to the tap
The total salt content and thus the conductivity of the osmosis water depends on the quality of the tap water (raw water)!
