Refill kit for the grey Smart cartridges

Scope of delivery
1 plug for the water filter
2.5 liters of refill granules
1 refill funnel

Instructions

• You have drilled a 10 mm hole in the top of your used grey Smart cartridge.
• Empty the old granules and clean the filter cartridge to ensure it remains hygienically clean.
• Add new granules and seal the opening with a silicone stopper. Important: only fill to approximately 4/5 full, as the granules expand upon contact with water.
• Insert the cartridge into the tank.
• Cut a piece of aluminum foil to size and stick it over the Jura's water inlet. Two small strips of adhesive tape are sufficient for securing it. Cut out the filling hole and attach the tank. Done!

The aluminum foil interrupts the communication between the filter's RFID chip and the Jura machine. Therefore, the message "Filter capacity exhausted" no longer appears. The Jura machine starts with the setting without a filter. That's it.
