A special fired clay containing organic material from plants that are millions of years old is used for the production of EM ceramic; this material serves as food for effective microorganisms (EM) during the months-long fermentation process. Among other things, EM ceramic causes a reduction in the surface tension of the water and a reduction in the size of the cluster structures. This restores the water to its natural state.
During production, EM-X ceramic is "baked into" the filter cartridge as a powder. This creates a huge contact surface with the water.
Together with the proven filter performance of the Carbonit NFP Premium filter technology, this results in ideal water filtration.

Description

EM ceramics consist of clay into which effective microorganisms (EM) have been fired under the exclusion of air (anaerobically). As a result, the versatile properties and information of EM are retained and passed on. (In this context, think of the well-known microorganisms found in volcanic magma or in the hot water of geysers!) We can be certain: the highly resistant bacterial strains in EM do not belong to the group of microbes that are harmful to humans. In fact, all microorganisms that can be dangerous to humans are destroyed at temperatures of 60 degrees Celsius within an hour. Such bacteria are not in EM!

What can EM ceramic do?

 

According to Prof. Dr. Teruo Higa, EM ceramic possesses the extraordinary ability to remove any kind of information from water. Ceramic has the natural ability to effect ion exchange and long-wave infrared radiation, which erases information from the water molecules and restores the pure original state. In addition, EM possesses an extraordinary ability for antioxidation, i.e., it can not only prevent oxidation but also reverse oxidation that has already occurred. At the same time, it is able to restore the original good magnetic resonance of substances, thus bringing about regeneration. In combination, EM ceramic can therefore steer life processes and any matter towards regeneration. EM ceramic represents the medium with which the EM information that was fired into the clay is transferred to the water. The information is not damaged by the firing process. Thus, the magnetic resonance emanating from EM ceramic can only be beneficial to nature.

What happens during the firing of EM information into the clay?

 

Prof. Higa explains it as follows: »Clay is a colloid with an electrical charge that can duplicate the information of microorganisms like a template when its electrical properties are compressed. The theory that life originated from clay may have its origin in the fact that clay actually has the property of receiving, fixing, and binding diverse electrical information. It follows that EM ceramic can be viewed as a template for EM information. (…) When you bring the ceramic into contact with water, it becomes possible to extract the EM information from the template.«

Service life:
The filter cartridge must be changed after 6 months (in accordance with DIN 1988). In principle, approx. 10,000 liters of water can be filtered within 6 months. An earlier change may be necessary, however, if the water flow is noticeably reduced. An early change is not a defect of the filter used, but an indication of an increased occurrence of fine particles in the unfiltered water.

approx. 2.5–3 liters per minute (depending on water pressure)


Temperature:
For technical reasons, use only with cold water up to max. 20°C; protect from frost.
