Water filter cartridge for softening your tap water

 
These water softening cartridges for kitchen use contain a special ion-exchange granulate with a high capacity to remove the hardness-causing minerals calcium and magnesium from the water. This softens the water. Calcium and magnesium ions are exchanged for harmless sodium ions (sodium carbonate). Hard water causes limescale deposits in water pipes, heating systems, washing machines, and many household appliances. The dissolved calcium, iron, and magnesium particles in the water damage clothing, dry out the skin, and spoil the taste of food and drinks. The filter cartridges are specially designed so that the water flows through the entire ion-exchange granulate, thus ensuring maximum filtration efficiency .

- different cartridge sizes.
- 10 µm polypropylene filter insert
- NSF, FDA approval
- Operating temperature 2-52°C
- Capacity up to approximately 3000 liters or 6 months (whichever comes first)

- Flow rate: approx. 5 liters per minute (depending on line pressure)
