Water filter cartridge to remove/reduce the iron content of your tap water

Iron removal cartridges for use in private households contain a special, fine-grained granulate with a high ability to remove iron ions from the water. According to the Drinking Water Treatment Ordinance, the maximum iron content in drinking water is 0.2 mg. Higher levels result in discoloration, cloudiness, and an unpleasant taste in the water. Pipes become encrusted and corroded. The filter cartridges were specially designed to prevent such problems. The water flows through the entire ion-exchange granulate, ensuring maximum filtration efficiency.

Caution: Allow the first 20 liters of water to drain before connecting the cartridge to the water system. If the cartridge is defective and granules leak out, it will be immediately visible, saving you the hassle of loose granules in your appliances.
