Replacement filter "Made in Germany" suitable for Multi-Pure filters of the MP-750 series, MP-1000 and MP-1200 EL

The SANACELL filter cartridges CB-Premium 6 fit into MULTI-PURE filters of the MP-750 series, MP-1000 and MP-1200 EL.
They are a joint development of SANACELL Handels Berlin and CARBONIT Filtertechnik Berlin.

In the filter manufacturer CARBONIT, we have gained the largest European producer of carbon block filters as a partner. CARBONIT produces activated carbon blocks in Germany that are specifically adapted to European conditions. The retention of bacteria is fundamental for a carbon block. Unlike in the USA, drinking water in Germany is not chlorinated. To achieve high retention rates here, the pore size of 0.45 μm is finer than that of the MULTI-PURE replacement filters.

Due to intensive livestock farming and agriculture, our focus must be particularly directed toward hormones, pharmaceutical residues, and pesticides. The CARBONIT filters have been successfully tested for their retention capacity for these substances. Filter safety and enjoyment are the premises of our recommendations. Therefore, there are two criteria for the replacement filter change cycle. Heavy metals, for example, are retained by the activated carbon until the filter pores are clogged and no more water passes through the filter. This can sometimes take years. The situation is different with microorganisms. Here, it is a question of time before they penetrate the filter. The CARBONIT activated carbon blocks are tested and safe for at least 6 months. It is for reasons of safety and your health that we recommend changing the filter after 6 months.

There are no drinking water filter standards in Germany. Among other things, however, a household filter is described in DIN 1988. Here too, the replacement period is recommended after six months based on studies and experience from the DVGW in order to exclude a bacteriological risk.

Various independent expert reports have been prepared for the CARBONIT® Monoblock NFP-Premium filter cartridge, which is manufactured using the same technical process, confirming the hygiene and performance of the filter insert. In addition, it received the LGA certificate for tested safety according to German food law.
