Water iron removal cartridges for private household use contain a special, fine-grained granulate with a high capacity to remove iron ions from the water. According to drinking water regulations, the maximum permissible iron content in drinking water is 0.2 mg. Higher levels can lead to discoloration, cloudiness, and an unpleasant taste in the water. Pipes can also become encrusted and corroded. These filter cartridges are specifically designed to prevent such problems. The water flows through the entire ion-exchange granulate, ensuring maximum filtration efficiency.
