QuickChange AP Series AP Trio Drinking water filtration system
QuickChange AP Series
Drinking water filtration system
QuickChange or bayonet-type filters consist of a filter head and a filter cartridge. Like inline filters, they offer the highest level of hygienic safety. When the filter (medium) is changed, the housing is automatically replaced as well, since both form a single unit. Cleaning and disinfecting the inside of the housing, as required with conventional systems, is therefore unnecessary. This prevents germs from entering the system during filter changes. The user no longer comes into contact with the used or new filter medium, which is a significant advantage for hygiene.
Filter change in no time at all
When changing the filter, only the locking button is pressed and the filter is removed and inserted with a ¼ turn.
Quality management
Production is carried out according to the ISO 9001 – 2000 quality management standard with TÜV Essen certification.
The production quality is certified according to LGA. Certified to European and international standards.
New cases
The amount of adsorptive filter material in this QuickChange filter (2) could be increased by 10% compared to conventional 10” filters (1), which benefits the pollutant absorption capacity.
A wall mount is integrated into the filter head.
Special features
1) Very compact due to
- patented filter head design
- newly designed cartridge
2) Safety locking button
3) New cartridges with more content
4) Easy plug-in and plug-out filter change
5) Highly compressed, fine-pored filter media
6) low pressure loss
7) Selection of different filter types
8) The filter head can be easily disinfected.
9) The TRIO model allows for an increase in filter capacity or the inclusion of a water softener in the middle, if required.
Filter types:
K3 Quick-Change Carbon Block 5µm or 3µm
Filter block with matrix medium
K7 Quick-Change Carbon Block 0.8 µm
Highly compact filter block with matrix medium
K7B Carbon block with membrane 0.1µm
In addition to the carbon block, a hollow fiber membrane with an absolute filter fineness of 0.1 microns is integrated as a post-filter. This meets the microbiological requirements according to EPA.
The membrane type used is characterized by a further 30% improvement in filter fineness. compared to the standards, with a simultaneously very low pressure loss and high capacity thanks to an extremely large surface structure.
performance
The filters remove chlorine, heavy metals, organic pollutants, rust, impairing tastes and particles/suspended solids at high percentages. A A solid carbon block (activated carbon from coconut) is used, featuring a unique matrix fiber structure and the ability to retain iron to the specified extent. The additional capillary membrane provides germ protection with a bacteriological reduction of 8 log units. Practical tests of the membrane were conducted, among other places, at the environmental laboratory ACB Berlin.
Pollutant retention regarding carbon block 3µm etc.:
Active chlorine 99%
Benzene 95%
phenol 96%
Pesticide (Lindane) 97%
Heavy metals 95%
The following measurements were obtained for a 10" carbon block of the type of activated carbon used in the QuickChange filters, here with a 10µm filter fineness according to NSF 42 and 53 protocols:

--- Chlor --- Lead --- iron
