Ultrafiltration with a fineness of 0.02µm through an internal ultrafiltration membrane and a combined, sintered activated carbon monoblock with a fineness of 5.0µm.
This ensures the reliable retention of bacteria and viruses. The adsorptive retention rate (ARR) is approximately 60-70%, compared to 100% for the NFP Premium-9.

Carbonit's IFP pollutant retention system guarantees certified safety according to German food law and environmentally friendly processing of renewable raw materials.

Service life:
The filter cartridge must be changed after 6 months (according to DIN 1988). Generally, approximately 5,000 liters of water can be filtered within 6 months. However, an earlier change may be necessary if the water flow is noticeably reduced.
An early filter change is not a defect of the filter itself, but rather an indication of an increased presence of fine particles in the unfiltered water. Due to the extremely fine filtration, in cases of significantly reduced flow rates, pre-filtration with Carbonit textile filters is recommended. This will extend the lifespan of your IFP Ultra filter and ensure a comfortable water flow for longer.
