The cartridge works on the so-called up-current principle. This means that only the amount of water sucked in by the machine and required for beverage preparation is filtered immediately before use. This ensures optimum filter utilisation.
High-quality filter granulate made of silvered activated carbon and high-performance ion exchangers
One disposable cartridge is sufficient for approx. 50 litres depending on the water quality
The disposable cartridge is inserted directly into the water tank.
Compared to other commercially available cartridges, this one has a pre-filter with an extremely fine-meshed filter screen (passage opening 180my), so that no granulate can get into the water from the cartridge due to backflow.
