EM Puro Carbonit
This cartridge filter is especially manufactured for Prime Inventions on the basis of the two-stage IFP Puro. It combines of the particular characteristics of a carbon block sediment filter with a microfiltration of 0.15 microns through the internal Capillary membrane. Even with a high contamination which may accumulate within the microorganism can be reliably retained but still leaves the minerals untouched. The EM Puro is ideal for low pressure and reduces the growth of bacteria. The capillary membrane Ster-OTap® is in accordance to the ANSI/NSF Standard 53(Cyst and Turbidity reduction) The active carbon block has been tested and certified by the German food and law standard association and is also considered environmentally friendly from recycled resources. With the additional mixture of EM Ceramic powder (EM=Effective Microorganisms) it enhances the special characteristics within the cartridge filter, thus leaving the water tasting fresh and full-bodied for many of our users.
Service life:
The cartridge filter must be replaced after 6 months (according to DIN 1988). Basically, 5,000 liters of water must be filtered within 6 months. However, earlier change may be necessary if the water flow is noticeably reduced. Earlier replacement is not a defect of the filter used, but an indication of increased presence of fine particles in unfiltered water. Filtration rating: 0.15 microns (membrane) / 5 micron (activated carbon). This EM Puro filter cartridge fits into the CARBONIT® filter units SANUNO, Vario HP and Duo-HP as well as in the Prime Inventions filter devices.
