Water filter cartridge to soften your tap water

These water softening cartridges for use in the kitchen contain a special ion-exchanging granulate with a high ability to remove the hardness components calcium and magnesium from the water. This will make the water soft. Lime and magnesium ions are exchanged for harmless soda ions (sodium carbonicum). Hard water causes limescale deposits in water supply pipes, heating systems, washing machines and many household appliances. The lime, iron and magnesium particles dissolved in the water destroy clothing, dry out the skin and spoil the taste of food and drinks. The filter cartridges have been specially designed so that the water flows through the entire ion-exchanging granulate, thus ensuring maximum filtration efficiency.
